Choosing your notifications
Where your notifications appear, and how to switch categories on or off from the Notifications section of Settings.
Your updates appear on the Notifications page in the sidebar, the same feed the bell at the top of the dashboard opens. You choose which kinds you get in Settings, under Notifications. Every switch starts on.
Change your notification settings
- Open Settings in the sidebar.
- Scroll to Notifications.
- Flip the switch next to any category. Your choice saves as soon as you flip it.
If a switch snaps back with the message "Couldn't save that preference", wait a moment and try again.
What each switch covers
- Royalty distributions. The email we send when new royalties have been collected and credited to you. Turning it off stops the email only. The update still shows on your Notifications page, and the money still lands in your balance and on your Royalties page.
- Registration updates. News about your songs' registrations, including notices when something needs your attention. We suggest leaving this on, so you don't miss a song that needs something from you.
- Payout confirmations. A notice when a withdrawal is processed and on its way.
A few account messages have no switch and always come through, because they concern your account itself.
Read and clear your notifications
Open Notifications in the sidebar to see everything, newest first. When you have unread items, choose Mark all read at the top of the list. Items that ask you to do something clear themselves once the thing is done.
