Changing where your money goes
How to set up or change your payout method, bank transfer through Stripe or PayPal, and why withdrawals pause for 48 hours after a change.
You choose where your money goes in the Payout Method section of the Payouts page. You can be paid by bank transfer through Stripe, or by PayPal. To keep your royalties safe, we email a 6-digit code to your login address before a change, and changing a method you already had pauses withdrawals for 48 hours.
The two options
- Stripe (bank transfer): usually arrives within 2 to 5 business days.
- PayPal: usually arrives within 1 to 2 business days.
You can set up both. Your chosen option has a highlighted border, and every withdrawal goes there.
Set up a bank transfer
- Open Payouts in the sidebar and find Payout Method.
- Press the Stripe row. It says Set up bank transfer.
- If asked, enter the 6-digit code we emailed to your login address.
- You'll go to Stripe to add your bank details. Follow Stripe's steps, then come back.
If the row says Finish setting up Stripe, Stripe still needs something from you. Press it to continue.
To change your bank account later, choose Stripe and press Change bank details on Stripe.
Set up or change PayPal
- In Payout Method, press the PayPal row.
- Type your PayPal email address and press Send confirmation.
- If asked, enter the 6-digit code we emailed to your login address.
- We send a confirmation link to your PayPal address. Open it within 24 hours.
Nothing changes until you open that link. When it works, you'll see PayPal address confirmed.
To change or remove PayPal, make sure PayPal is your chosen option, then press its row again. Enter a new address and press Send confirmation, or press Disconnect PayPal.
Switch between them
If both are set up, press the row of the option you want to use. It's saved right away, and the Withdraw button uses it from then on. You may be asked for a code here too. Switching between two options you've already set up doesn't pause withdrawals.
About the 6-digit code
The code goes to the email address you sign in with. It works once and expires in 15 minutes. If it doesn't arrive or runs out, press Send a new code.
Why withdrawals pause for 48 hours
The first payout method you ever set up doesn't cause a pause. After that, withdrawals pause for 48 hours when you add or replace a bank account or PayPal address, or open Stripe to change your bank details. This protects your money if someone else got into your account. Your balance isn't affected, and the Payouts page shows when withdrawals reopen.
We also email your login address whenever your payout details change. If you didn't make a change, change your password and write to info@davincii.co right away. See changing your email or password.
Keep your details current
A payment sent to the payout account you most recently set up counts as delivered to you. If your bank account or PayPal address changes, update it here before you withdraw.
