What KOMCA collects

A performing rights organization collects performance royalties — money generated when a composition is played publicly, whether that's radio, television, a live venue, or a stream.

KOMCA operates in South Korea and collects public performance, mechanicals — South Korea. It was founded in 1964 and reports roughly 35,000 members.

Joining KOMCA

Joining cost: Members must be Korean nationals or residents. Royalties are distributed quarterly. An IPI number is required — that's the global identifier that ties a writer to their works, and without one your registrations can't be matched to payments.

KOMCA does not publish an open online registration path. Membership is generally arranged directly with the society or through a publisher.

Where Davincii fits

Davincii does not register directly with KOMCA. Membership here is generally limited to residents or is invitation-only, so collection from this territory is handled through our reciprocal society relationships rather than a direct filing.
