SGAE

Sociedad General de Autores y Editores

Spain's PRO + mechanical society. Major reciprocal partner for Latin American CMOs. If you have Spanish-language tracks getting plays in Spain or Latin America, SGAE is often where the money lands first.

What SGAE collects

A performing rights organization collects performance royalties — money generated when a composition is played publicly, whether that's radio, television, a live venue, or a stream.

SGAE operates in Spain and collects public performance, mechanicals — Spain + Spanish-speaking territories. It was founded in 1899 and reports roughly 130,000 members.

Joining SGAE

Joining cost: €60 one-time. Royalties are distributed quarterly. An IPI number is required — that's the global identifier that ties a writer to their works, and without one your registrations can't be matched to payments.

Register directly at SGAE.

Where Davincii fits
